Job Summary:

In this role, you will handle unreleased finished goods outside the clean room- packaging them, pallet loading them and readying them for shipment.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Packages unreleased components following written instruction provided by Quality/Engineering.
  • Utilizes scanning technology and computer systems to correctly pallet load and move product in our inventory system.
  • Inventories all necessary packaging supplies and reconciles the physical inventory with the inventory listed in the system.
  • Can be forklift certified.
  • Contribute to continuous process improvement efforts to reduce scrap, cycle times, improve efficiency, and eliminate waste within the production environment.
  • Provides a “Customer Service” attitude when interacting with internal and external customers while accomplishing work, production, and achieving quality standards.
  • Maintains a clean, orderly, and safe workstation and environment always.
  • Performs other duties as assigned based on business needs.
  • Conforms with and abides by all regulations, policies, work procedures, instruction, and all safety rules.
  • Exhibits regular, reliable, punctual and predictable attendance.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Education or Equivalent Experience: High School or equivalent

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Experience: 0-3 years of experience.
  • Minimum 1 year as an operator.
  • Experience with cGMP purchasing practices, ISO, and medical device manufacturing.

Travel Requirements:

  • None.

Physical and Mental Requirements:

  • Must be able to work assigned shift(s) with overtime as required to complete assignments if necessary.
  • Sitting and/or standing for extended periods may occur as well as getting to and from offices and building sites.
  • If specifically necessitated by customer requirements, must be able to see with or without corrective lenses and distinguish color differences for product and safety issues.
  • Hearing ability should be sufficient to hear and react to audible alarms from distances up to 150 feet.
  • The ability to be able to lift and carry various items up to 50 pounds for manufacturing positions or 30 pounds for administrative positions is required.

Production Trainer

will act as a self-directed team member with good leadership skills and the ability to assist the Supervisor in training and coaching.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates with the Production Leads and Shift Supervisor on all hands-on training activities through various electronic learning management systems
  • Mentor and train new operators to production procedures and train for their work assignments
  • Check daily that operators understand and follow production procedures, SOP’s, WIKI’s, and MQC’s
  • Check daily that operator’s paperwork shows they are following GDP and cGMP’s.
  • Performs training within production as needed and initiate training packages for on the job training
  • Coordinates with other departments to ensure training needs are met.
  • Maintains a clean, neat, and safe work environment.
  • Identify and resolve potential safety hazards.
  • Conforms with and abides by all regulations, policies, work procedures, instruction, and all safety rules.
  • Exhibit regular, reliable, punctual and predictable attendance.
  • Exhibit simple computer skills.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience in manufacturing as a competent operator/inspector
  • Experience leading others.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Able to be aware of all relevant SOPs as per Company policy as they are related to the position covered by this Job Description
  • Support and contribute in Lean Sigma programs and activities towards delivery of the set target
  • Able to comply with the company’s safety policy at all times.
  • Able to comply with the company’s quality policy at all times.
